  • What do you do in your job? I am the team leader of the Center for Student Life. As the Dean of Students, I am the Dean for Students. I wake up everyday and think about how to best support my team, and how best to support students in their quest for purpose, meaning, and faith, during their college years through dynamic co-curricular programs and relational ministry.
  • Hobbies/favorite things to do - Spending time with my family, traveling around the world (but especially to the U.K.), thinking about thinking, Vinyasa Yoga, following D3 Football (Go Thunder!), hiking in the English Lake District, spending time with good friends.

  • Why are you at RC? - I have worked in Christian Higher Education for many years and am committed to serving students in this context. Also, Rochester, Michigan, is my hometown, and after many years away and around the world the Lord brought us here.
  • Favorite food - Indian, Argentine, a good pub’s fish and chips or bangers and mash.
  • Most embarrassing moment - I am getting too old to care or recall.
  • TV show character you most relate to - maybe MacGyver (I don’t watch much TV).

  • If you weren’t at work, what would you be caught doing on a sunny day? Playing with my family outside.

  • What is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen? My bride walking down the aisle of Stauffer Chapel at Pepperdine University where we married; and the face of our newborn child.
