Robert is married to the lovely events coordinator, Rachel Arbaugh. They live in Rochester, Michigan with their scruffy puppy Desdemona, “Desi” or as the students call her “Ugly Puppy”. In Rob’s spare time, he runs the UnCovered Theatre Company, a professional theatre on the campus of Rochester College through which he started the Rochester College Shakespeare Festival. When he is not teaching, directing a show at RC, or running UnCovered, he spends his time working as a Professional actor and director. He spent 3 years as resident a member of the Virginia Shakespeare Festival. His professional theatre career has taken him Up and down the east coast, Virginia Beach, Chicago, Columbus, and finally back home to Detroit where he has returned home to family and friends!
