Mr. Brandon Gauvin holds bachelors and masters degrees in organ performance from Wayne State University (Detroit, MI), having studied with Norah Duncan IV and Ronald Prowse.  He studied piano and organ privately with Gerald Goslin.  Brandon has extensive accompanying experience throughout the Detroit area, performing with the DSO Civic Orchestra, various ensembles from Wayne State University and the University of Detroit Mercy, and numerous community choirs.  Brandon is the director of music and worship at Holy Name Parish in Birmingham, and has served as organist/choir director in in the Archdiocese of Detroit for 14 years.  Brandon resides in Royal Oak with his wife, Joslyn, and daughters, Ayla and Clara. He is an avid golfer and reader, but most enjoys the challenges and blessings of music-making, both as a solo and a collaborative musician.
